UNION MEDICAL CENTRE brings you a compassionate, experienced General Practice and Allied Heath service. Our long serving GPs are proud to have been caring for Springvale residents for over twenty years.

Both our senior general practitioners Dr Thomas Verghese and Dr Sarita Kotur are GP supervisors. This means they can provide an outstanding GP service coupled with the support and supervision of the GP registrars who also make up our medical team.

Our practice is dedicated to the care and prevention of illness and injury, welcoming individuals and families from all cultural backgrounds. All appointments are bulk billed (providing you have a current Medicare card).

Our practice is purpose built, created to treat a broad range of general health issues. We believe your general health is best managed by continuous care from the same source and work hard to establish long term caring relationships with our patients and their families.

When necessary we will refer you on to our network of excellent specialists.

Union Medical Centre is an Accredited Training Practice with EV GP Training in the delivery of the Australian General Practice Training Programme. We work in partnership with EV GP Training to train the next generation of GPs for our community. Our practice has GPs who supervise, mentor and support registrars (doctors in training).

Our doctors are also able to make residential and nursing home visits if attending the clinic is difficult. Simply ask our reception staff.

In addition to our excellent general practice we also offer appointments with a visiting physiotherapist and onsite pathology.

Our team are also multilingual, speaking Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil and English.
