Our Medical Team

Dr Thomas Verghese
M.B.B.S R.A.C.G.P Fellowship 1998
Dr Verghese graduated from the National University of Ireland in 1992 and spent several years working in Darwin before moving to Melbourne. Dr Verghese’s special interests include men’s health, diabetes and weight loss management. He is married with 2 children and enjoys football, cricket and running to stay fit.

Dr Sarita Kotur
M.B.B.S R.A.C.G.P Fellowship 1988
Dr Kotur graduated from the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India in 1988. Her special interests include women’s health, family planning and weight loss management. Dr Kotur speaks several languages including Hindhi, Tamil, Kannada and Marathi. Dr Kotur is married with 2 children and enjoys reading and keeping fit in her spare time.

Dr Phyo Min Thein
Dr Thein is a fellow of Royal Australian College of General practice with over a decade experience providing all aspects of medical practice in Australia.
Dr Thein has a keen interest in men’s, women’s and children’s health; mental health and health assessments; chronic disease management; T.A.C. and Work-related injuries, trauma management and skin cancer management and much more. Dr Thein also holds a Diploma in Child Health awarded by The Sydney Children’s Hospital Network and The University of Sydney.
He speaks both English and Burmese.

Dr Xin Louis Xiao
Dr Xiao graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2021 and worked for several years as a hospital doctor in Melbourne before deciding to begin training as a GP registrar. Dr Xiao is interested in seeing all GP presentations, with a focus on patient-centred care. Outside of work, he enjoys travelling and trying out new restaurants.

Dr Paramjeet Singh
Paramjeet obtained his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Queensland before commencing training at the Prince Charles Hospital. He has worked in a variety of hospitals in both Brisbane and Melbourne.
He is interested in all areas of General Practice including preventative health, women’s health, paediatrics and travel medicine. In his time outside of work, he enjoys going to the gym, traveling and spending time with friends. He is fluent in Hindi and Punjabi .

Dr Andrew Pham (registrar)
Dr Andrew graduated from Deakin University School of Medicine in Geelong. He has completed his hospital training with Monash Health and has worked in a wide range of disciplines including: ICU, Cardiology, General Medicine, Paediatrics and Emergency Medicine.
He enjoys all aspects of General practice with a special interest in children’s healths and chronic disease management.. Outside of medicine, Dr Andrew enjoys reading, gardening, travelling and playing musical instruments
